Have you ever had the curiosity to notice how much amount of RAM is your system using when you are working on it? There may also be situations where your system has become slow and unresponsive to a certain number of tasks. This is all because, your RAM may be occupied by some of the unwanted processes running on your system. With the FreeRam XP Pro, you can free a specific amount of your RAM space either manually or automatically by a single mouse click.
Using the FreeRam XP Pro, you can either go for an automatic optimization of your system or a manual optimization. When you go for an automatic optimization, you need not specify the amount of RAM you want the FreeRam XP Pro to get it free for you. And the optimization happens automatically and the amount of RAM freed is dependent on your system status. If you go for a Manual optimization, then you need to specify the amount of RAM that you want to get it free. Remember that, if the amount of RAM that you want to get it free is more than the capacity of your RAM, then it makes your system slow and unresponsive.
The following section describes a step-by-step instruction of how to install and use the FreeRam XP Pro software to free-up your RAM.
If you haven’t done though, download FreeRam XP Pro software from the following link

5) In the FreeRam window, if you wish to do an automatic optimization (i.e., automatic freeing-up of your RAM), then select the radio button that says AutoFree: Automatically optimizes to balance speed and memory and then click on the Go button.
6) If you wish to manually free-up the space on your RAM, then select the radio button that says Try to free—— MB of RAM and then specify the amount of RAM that you wish to free-up and once done click on the Go button.
NOTE: – if you wish to see a detailed report after the above two tasks, then ensure that you have selected the checkbox that says Display a freeing results report when done with memory operations.
7) In both the cases, after you click on the Go button, you can observe that the amount of RAM freed-up has increased. See the snapshot below and compare with the above two snapshots.
8. If you have selected the checkbox that we mentioned in the NOTE above, then you should see a detailed report of the memory freeing operation. The report displays the amount of RAM that was free before the operation and the amount gained after the operation.
Overall, the FreeRam XP Pro does its job well and can be used as a stand alone freeware to optimize your system’s speed and memory cache.
